Portable Large Sample Spinner: NEW!!- This is a development of the Minispin. It is a low-cost, high sensitivity portable slow-speed fluxgate magnetometer. It is of rugged construction, battery or mains-powered, and it may, therefore, be used either in the field or in the laboratory. Its performance in terms of noise level and convenience is better than the conventional laboratory instrument. Specimens are spun at 6 Hz about a vertical axis inside a triple-shielded, annulus-shaped fluxgate, the output from which may be integrated over 6 or 24 seconds. The results are displayed as two orthogonal components of magnetization on a 6-digit liquid crystal panel. Integration is effected digitally and the magnitude and phases of the signal are extracted by Fourier analysis.

High field shielded demagnetizer: NEW!! - A breakthrough in isolating the coil from the magnetic shield together with extensive re-design of the power supply and power amplifier has allowed the maximum field to be increased to at least 1500 Oersteds.
It has a cooling system and includes reversal of the rotation as standard. The sample size is unchanged at 2.54cm diameter and 2.54cm long. Although the appearance size is the same as the original (which is still available) the weight is greater. The P.A R.M and A.R.M attachments remain the same.
